"How many people would write something nice about an insurance company?… and I’m about to do just that! I’m not blowing smoke about any of this, and I have better things to do, but I actually (want) to say this. I went with State Farm initially because their premium rates were better. Recently, my pickup truck was stolen – first time I’ve ever had a vehicle stolen from me. I did a Police report and contacted my insurance company right away, and did everything I know to do, but it was never found. (it could now be in another country for all I know). That’s hard enough to deal with on its own, but I must say; from getting me a rental car, to declaring my truck a “total loss,” determining the proper value & getting me paid the necessary funds to replace it, State Farm was absolutely amazing in all aspects, all the way around. I almost feel like I dealt with “friends” throughout this whole process. And at the end of it all, as my perceived reputation of most insurance companies go, I was expecting to be totally “low-balled” on the value of my stolen truck, but they pleasantly surprised me with an offer that was more than fair, and I did my homework! I actually felt good about it and appreciated the respectful and fair offer, which I accepted. And believe me, I’m not being paid to say any of this! The wonderful people at the ‘Mike Gaines’ branch (Nashville area) were above and beyond who they should be. I’m busy and I generally don’t have the time to write a text like this, but I mean these things from the bottom of my heart, and I thank God for these people. I highly recommend them, as well as State Farm in general as a good insurance company. Thank you David S, Brittany, Frankee and everyone else there! You made going through this much easier.
